In November 2015, RWS’ casino became the first casino in Asia Pacific to receive RG Check accreditation from the Responsible Gambling Council, one of the most comprehensive and rigorous responsible gambling accreditation programmes in the world. RWS proudly retained the accreditation in 2018, 2021 and 2024, consistently attaining the highest RG Check score worldwide among over 250 accredited venues from 2015 to 2024. This outstanding achievement is a testament to our commitment in providing the most comprehensive social safeguards for our casino guests.
The Committee comprises representatives from our senior management team. They take the lead in setting strategic direction and drive implementation for our responsible gambling initiatives. The Committee also reviews the effectiveness of our measures implemented.
Our Independent Advisory Panel comprises experts in the areas of prevention of problem gambling and addiction. They share their insights and knowledge of emerging social concerns and economic issues associated with problem gambling which helps us strategise our responsible gambling initiatives.
We have a team of specially trained and friendly RG Ambassadors that are identified by their badge. Patrons can speak to them for advice and assistance on responsible gambling matters. Discussions are held in confidence and discreetly in our RG Centre/ private lounge.
Singpass users may apply and check status for National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) Casino Self-Exclusion or Voluntary Visit Limit via our self-service kiosk(s) located at the membership counter outside our casino main entrance at level B1 using Singpass. You may approach our RG Ambassadors for assistance.
You can speak with our RG Ambassadors in the privacy of our 24-hour RG Centre and private lounge or pick up brochures on responsible gambling from there. The RG Centre and lounge are equipped with facilities for patrons to take an online assessment on their risk of problem gambling.
